Meet Pregs
My Journey
“…30 years on, it never gets old…”
After graduating as doctors, we go through the full rotation of specialties. I was no different: paediatrics, intensive care, general surgery, accident and emergency. We see it all. But when I did obstetrics and delivered my first baby, I remember thinking “Whoa! This is the most amazing thing I’ve ever done.” And that was it. Game over. I knew it was the specialty for me. And I’ve never changed my mind.
I’ve added to it with more study and qualifications but always around the management of fertility, pregnancy and achieving best outcomes for women. Now, as one of the pivotal people bringing new lives into the world, I’m frequently the first person to hold that new life. It’s a joy that never gets old.
It’s also a responsibility I’ve accepted throughout my professional life as an honour and privilege and I want all my patients to feel cared for.
I have three children of my own – all grown up now. I’m happiest cooking on the BBQ, watching a good Sci Fi on the biggest screen and I am an ardent AFL Blues supporter.
30 years in women’s health.
Tailoring solutions through experience, knowledge and respect.
I strive for compassion and kindness in my approach to everyone; these qualities are invaluable as women navigate their often complex health journeys. I provide personalised care that acknowledges each woman's unique needs, making it easier for them to achieve their health goals. I understand the importance of prioritising health and wellbeing and my team and I create a welcoming environment where every patient feels valued and understood.
Here’s what some of our patients have to say.
